Two Golden Rules
An injection pen is a reusable device that holds your reconstituted peptide in a glass cartridge and lets you dial an exact dose, then deliver it through a fine, disposable pen needle. Many researchers prefer pens because they make repeat dosing faster, more consistent, and far easier to measure than drawing every dose with a separate syringe.

Failing to remove air from the canister before filling the cartridge will cause pressure to push the stopper out — and you will lose all of your peptide. This step is non-negotiable.
Most peptides are given subcutaneously — into the fatty tissue just beneath the skin. In some cases a provider may recommend intramuscular injection.

Mild redness, itching, swelling, or small hives at the site are relatively common and usually not a true allergy — typically a localized immune response or technique-related.
Reconstitute powdered peptides only when ready to use, and avoid repeated freezing and thawing whenever possible.
The 28-Day Rule
Keep powdered peptides cold and reconstitute only what you'll use soon. Always store vials away from light and heat, and never refreeze a reconstituted solution.
How do I know it was reconstituted correctly? A properly reconstituted peptide is clear and free of visible particles. Cloudiness or discoloration means it should not be used.
Can peptides be left out of the fridge? Most stay stable at room temperature for several days if kept from heat and sunlight. Short periods unrefrigerated usually affect potency rather than safety — refrigerate again as soon as possible.
Why does my site itch or turn red? Usually a localized immune response, not a true allergy. Rotating sites and injecting slowly often reduces symptoms.
How long should one vial last? Most vials last roughly four to five weeks when used as intended; minor variation in duration is normal and doesn't affect results.
